Tying the knot with the love of your life should be the most special day of both of your lives. After all, in a perfect world, you only get to do it once, right?

Unfortunately, there can be a wide variety of problems and stressors when it comes to getting married. These problems can be anything, but most commonly they are related to one or both of two things: family and money.

Lets say your family hates your partner. That probably isn’t going to make for a very happy occasion. Or lets say times are hard financially. So if you aren’t really interested in sharing the most special day of your life dealing with sulking relatives or end up completely broke, remember you’ve always got the option to elope.

Eloping is easy. For a lot of people, its the most romantic way of getting married because its all about you and your partner. You forget about all of your troubles and run off with the love of your life and make the biggest commitment you can make to another person; and nobody else has to be there to potentially spoil it.

There are several ways you can elope. Here are a few ideas that might help make it easier:

*Whatever county you live in will have a Justice of the Peace that performs marriage ceremonies by appointment. It costs very little and does not involve leaving town.

*For a little adventure, elope in another country! There is nothing more romantic than getting married on the beach on one of the Caribbean Islands, is there? All you’ve got to do is book your flights and book a hotel. In most cases, the hotel staff will be able to tell you who to contact for performing the ceremony.

*Don’t forget – there is always Las Vegas – the world capital of eloping couples!
